Hey there!
I’m Ben, here to challenge you out of your comfort zone.
All our modern conveniences, whether it’s worry-less food supply or all-year-around climatised housing, are amazing. However, they also distance us from nature and make our bodies lazy. So lazy, our organism forgets how to deal with stress effectively and restore, when it’s thrown off the rails.
Certainly we won’t give it all up and go back into the caves. Ancestrally inspired habits coupled with simple, intermittent physical challenges can reactivate our body’s innate abilities to keep us healthy and happy in today’s modern world.
Are you ready to unspoil your body?
Your ancestral friend,
What if stress, anxiety, autoimmune disease or simply the annual flu didn’t have to be the default?
All it takes is a a solid ongoing base of …
real
food
mindful
actions
meaningful relationships
restorative
sleep
Then spike it up with intermittent physical challenges like …
icy
cold
natural
light
regular movement
regular
fast
sweaty
heat
grounding nature
conscious
breath
We used to know it all. However, over the millennia we have forgotten what came naturally to our ancestors. Fight off stress, anxiety, depression, autoimmune diseases and illness by re-learning ancestral habits.

Sessions
Leaving your comfort zone can be eye-opening. I always open up my short sessions with a golden nugget of ancestral knowledge, guide you through revitalising breathing exercises culminating in a mind-cleansing ice bath. Trusted collaborators often add the cherry on top with yoga or a sound journey. Whether you’re curious to try or are looking for a tribe to keep practicing, this is your space.
Retreats
Equally apt for beginners as well as experienced practitioners, my retreats give you the chance to truly unwind and go deeper. Always in collaboration with another inspiring holistic coach, we’ll invite you to fully disconnectfrom the stressful world outside and connect with the often neglected world you carry inside. Rural settings and nutritious foods leave nothing to wish for.
Team Building
Meaningful relationships are at the very core of an ancestrally inspired lifestyle, whether privately or at work. Book me to guide your team through an unforgettable bonding experience supporting each other in the challenge of an ice bath, which not only contributes to everybody’s personal wellbeing, but also increases mental clarity and therefore productivity at work.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of an ice bath?
Cold exposure acts as a hormetic stressor; that’s the good kind of stress making your body more resilient. Going into an ice bath is a workout for your cardiovascular system, it strengthens your immune system, regulates chronic inflammation, boosts your general cold resistance and gives you this incredible feeling of being able to move mountains.
Do you need any more reasons?
I get cold very easily, how could I ever do an ice bath?
I totally get it: The cold isn’t everybody’s warm friend, as Wim Hof likes to say.
An ice bath is not about arriving at a session and dipping straight in. We’ll always do some breathing first to prime our body for the challenge. Yogic stretches further warm you up. The knowledge and guidance I’ll provide you will give you the necessary confidence.
In despite of your mind sabotaging your self-esteem, you’ll be surprised by what your body is capable of … if you let it.
Isn't this stuff potentially dangerous?
Even though this is truly great stuff, it’s true that it’s not without risk, just like any physical activity.
If you’re currently pregnant, suffer from epilepsy or Raynaud’s disease type 2 you must not participate in these sessions for health-related safety reasons. In case of cardiovascular conditions or any other health-related concerns, I always encourage you to get clearance from your general practitioner first.
I'm not very spiritual. Is this still for me?
Oh absolutely! Despite the outcomes being even more powerful with an open mind, even the most scientific participants usually take away great insights from my sessions and retreats.
I very much like to walk at the intersection of science and spirituality, always looking for a “reasonable” explanation. Many effects of ancestral practices have been shown in scientific studies. At the end of the day, we are taking control of our body’s chemistry regulating our nervous system.
